Soilwork - Figure #5: Pieni nostalgiatrippi legendaariseen blast beat -biisiin. 

Deep Purple - Knocking at Your Back Door: Heitetään joukkoon vähän perinteisempääkin rokkia. 

Animals As Leaders - Apeirophobia: Keskinkertaista kitaransoittoa instrumentaalibändiltä. 

Vorna - Tyhjyys on tyyni: Kovasti tätä levyä on kehuttu, eikä se huono olekaan. 

Brother Bones & His Shadows - Sweet Georgia Brown: Viikon jazzstandardi kevyeksi välipalaksi. 

Evergrey - Blackened Dawn: Viikon TOP200-biisi tännekin voimasoittoon.

Sam Gopal - Midsummer Night Dream: Vaikka juhannus oli ja meni jo, niin tämän biisin myötä voit palata siihen aina uudestaan ja uudestaan. 

Wino - The Song's At The Bottom Of the Bottle: Ex-Saint Vitus singer has been struggling with mind-altering substances in the past, but manages to release another solo album. This is pretty stripped down, honest music which suits perfectly to that camping trip when you all are just staring at the fire. 

Cro-Mags - The Final Test: NY Hardcore punksters are still going strong after nearly 40 years of existence. I have not really been following them in the past, but if all goes well the band is playing Finland next year. Based on the new album, you are most probably able to spot me from the crowd... 

Protest The Hero - All Hands: These Canadian progressive metallers are back after a hiatus and deliver an album that took me by surprise. The vocals are absolutely crazy (in a good way) and this song is one of the pinnacles on the album. One of the big surprises this year has to offer for sure. 

Sleep Token - The Offering: A friend of mine was promoting this album on his wall and I decided to check it out. Sleep Token consists of anonymous hooded artists whose music is somewhere between art pop and progressive metal. 

Moribund Oblivion - Death Is With You: This Turkish black metal outfit has just released their new album Endless and this is the opening track. I have a personal addiction to the band after attending their gig in Tampere some years back and of course managed to snag their t-shirt and have a few words with the singer. The lyrics are both in Turkish and English which makes the band more appealing to me. 

Acherontas - Psychic Death: Greek metal music is always close to my heart. Acherontas makes no exception and delivers another stellar album. The title track is not that straightforward assault that you would be expect and their ability to surprise you is something that I like. The whole discography is worth checking out if you liked what you hear. 

Sapphire Eyes - Magic Moment: This Swedish AOR band is fronted by Finnish blood with Kimmo Blom behind the mic. The whole album is filled with some catchy, mellow hard rock tunes and melodies that are fitting to summer and freedom.

Karmakanic - Dot_Got the Universe and Everything Else No One Else Really Cares About, Pt. I: Ruotsalaisorkesterilla on kyllä yksi pisimmistä lukemistani kappaleen nimistä. No ei kappale itsekään niitä lyhyimpiä ole, joten menköön. Varsinkin kun mielenkiintoisia elementtejä kuunneltavaksi löytyy koko teoksen pituudelta.  

Mystery - The Delusion Rain: Minua on aina viehättänyt melodisuus ja tämän kanadalaisen yhtyeen tuotannossa sitä on riittävästi.  

Pekka Pohjola - Dancing In the Dark: Tovihan tässä, ainakin täällä pohjoisemmassa Suomessa, menee ennen kuin päästään pimeässä rokkaamaan. Mutta kuunnellaan kuitenkin komeaa soittoa.  

Eric Burdon - Who Gives a Fuck: Ericillä on Blues’n’Soul veressään.  

Eric Burdon - 27 Forever: Kerta kiellon päälle eli hieman toiselainen Burdon kappale.  

Jimmy Heath - Con Alma: Tammikuussa 93 vuotiaana kuolleen saksofonisti Jimmy Healthin musiikkia on julkaistu ja julkaistaan postuumisti. Tämä kaunis kappale on tulevalta Love Letter albumilta.  

Norah Jones - Say No More: Norah Jonesin uusin albumi, Pick Me Up Off the Floor, on upea kokonaisuus.  Albumin avaava ja päättävä laulu ovat hienosti sävellettyjä,ja kerrottuja tarinoita, eivätkä ne  yhdeksän muutakaan laulua näiden rinnalla kalpene.  

Jeff Beck - Psycho Sam: Tätä kuunnellessani saatoin vain todeta, että Jeff on kitaristi, jonka nuottikokoelmaa kattaa useammankin genren.  

Jeavestone - I’d Be Your Weakness : Pena suositteli tätä Kalajoelta kotoisin olevaa orkesteria. Eikä syytä, musiikki on monimuotoisuudessaan selkeää, melodista ja hyvällä maulla tehtyä. Musikkia korvilleni.
