Downchild Blues Band - When I Say Jump: Bluesbrothersien esikuvaksi sanottu orkesteri, jonka viiskymppisten juhla-albumia odotan mielenkiinnolla, onhan sillä yhtyeen vieraina mm. Dan Aykroyd ja Erja Lyytinen.
Sumeat Tilat - Linnuntie: Petra Streng ja Riku Kivilinna ovat löytäneet yhteisten sävelten tien, jota kannattaa kulkea eteenpäin.
Brother Sun Sister Moon - Numb: Tämäkin on duo, johon tulen perehtymään syvällisemmin. Barbara Cohenin ja Paul Robbin soitossa on miellyttävää harmoniaa.
Rick Wakeman - Valles Marineris: Kappaleen nimi ei kerro minulle mitään, mutta sisältö sitäkin enemmän - musiikkia.

Judas Priest - Persecution: Been lately jamming some 80's metal and Judas Priest has been on top of the charts. When Nostradamus was released I did not really jump for joy. Now returning to it more than 10 years later, I find myself enjoying the double album more than I thought. Halford is using the middle range of the voice more and this album and showing off the full range of his scale. This song is one of the many highlights on this album. Play it loud!
Duma - Lionsblood: Anyone up for some spooky noise from Kenya? Well, Duma is here and prepared to introduce the true sound of Kenyan underground. Honestly I would have maybe never come across with them, but once again the music circle has brought me here and they slay...once you give it a chance. Listen to the whole album in the darkness after a long and winding workday and you will see its purpose.
Macabre Omen - Anamneses from the past: Been waiting for a follow-up to Gods Of War - At War album from 2015 and I was super excited to see a new EP has been released. Actually there is only one new song and the rest are demos from the past. Nonetheless, the whole package is satisfying for the fans and gives me hope there is a new masterpiece brewing somewhere in Alexandros' mind.
Manticora - The Farmer's tale, Pt. 3 - Eaten by the beasts: Danish progressive power metallers have silently (at least for me) released a sequel for their 2018 album To Kill To Live To Kill entailed...wait for it: To Live To Kill To Live! Despite of the a bit awkward sounding wordplay, the music itself is pure bliss. Thunderous drumming, catchy choruses and great songs keep the album afloat and worthy on spending an hour of your precious time.
Gamma Ray - Heading For Tomorrow (Remastered in 2015): My anxiety was off the roof, when I heard about the 30 years of Gamma Ray stream show. I had the cold beer, good spirit and the best sound setup (PC only though). The show itself portrayed their career pretty well, while some songs I wanted to hear (but of course) but not make the cut. The special guest performance by former singer Ralf Scheepers was pure bliss and at 55 he proved to be still the force of nature. Unfortunately after his exit, Kai and Frank, while not being bad singers, were left in the shadow of Ralf's performance. Still today this song is a classic masterpiece and although it is long, you need to hear at least once in your life to appreciate the songwriting and performance.
Sölicitör - Blood Revelations: Anyone up for some smashing female fronted speed metal? Alright: Sölicitör is here! This is an album I have been waiting to enter the streaming world and it finally happened some weeks ago. Luckily I was able to grab a physical copy of this beast of an album too in the recent Bandcamp day. Seattle's finest offers fast and memorable songs on their debut album and once this pandemic is somewhat manageable, I hope to witness this awesomeness live in Finland one day.

Cynic - Carbon-Based Anatomy: Cyniciltä voi laittaa mitä vaan. On soitot ja laulut kohillaan.
Laura Moisio - Kaukana onnesta: Lauran laulusoundi on minusta Suomen paras naissoundi. Eipä sillä sitten niin väliä, mitä sillä laulaa. Onneksi kappaleetkin on hienoja.
Vision Divine - La Vita Fugge - Chapter VI: Italopoweria. Bändi on tullut Fabio Lionen äänellä tunnetuksi. Tällä albumilla mies ei itse ole äänessä, mutta on tehnyt kaikki laulumelodiat.
Katatonia - Dead Letters: Katatonia alkaa nostamaan päätä (tai laskemaan leukaa) kun syksy saa.
Maj Karma - Ukkonen: Maj Karma useimmiten tökkii alas mennessään. Välillä kuitenkin osuu. Sanoitukset ovat osittain hyvinkin onnistuneita.
Paradise Lost - Victim of the Past: Kylläpä meinaa valua synkäksi. Paradise Lost on levyltä oikein hyvä välipala.
Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World: Klassikko. Se ei silti tee kappaleesta huonoa.
Leevi & the Leavings - Pimeä tie, mukavaa matkaa: Päästäänhän sitä suomeksikin tähän syvään päätyyn...
Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll: On mahtava rumpuintro tässä biisissä.
Kolmas nainen - Lautalla: Eikä se rumpuintro tässäkään paljoa kalpene.
